Using your PreACT results

Take the ACT

The ACT includes 3 sections: Math, Reading, and Science. Each section is scored separately, and the composite score is a calculated average. The highest score possible on each section is a 36.

ALL 11th graders will take the ACT here at Page in late February / early March. Students will be automatically registered. If students wish to take it again, they can register via ACTstudent.org. Tests are offered on Saturdays at Page and other local high schools.

ACT scores can be used for college admission.

Visit ACT.org for more information and to register.

Take the SAT

The SAT includes 2 sections: Math and Reading. The highest score possible is a 1600.

Students must register on their own via CollegeBoard.org to take the SAT. Tests are offered on Saturdays at Page and other local high schools.

SAT scores can be used for college admission.

Visit CollegeBoard.org for more information and to register.

PSAT

ALL 10th & 11th graders take the PSAT in the fall. This is an excellent opportunity to practice for the real thing, and 11th graders can qualify for the National Merit Scholarship if they earn a high enough score. Students are automatically registered and can use their score report to determine what to study to improve their SAT score.
